An AI engineering team that ships reviewed pull requests. You stay in control.

TeamZero gives you a CTO, engineers, a Reviewer and QA. They are AI agents. They turn work items into pull requests on GitHub. You approve every plan, and you choose who merges.

How it works

Four steps from a work item to a pull request. Two of them are yours.

  • You write a work itemIn TeamZero, or bring it in from Linear, Jira or Slack. Plain language and acceptance criteria are enough.
  • You approve the CTO’s planThe CTO reads the repository and proposes the files, risks, tests and credits. Nothing is built until you approve.
  • The team builds, reviews and testsEngineers build in a sandbox, the Reviewer reviews in the GitHub pull request and QA runs the tests. If something needs a person, you get one clear question.
  • You choose who mergesYou merge in GitHub, or let the CTO merge routine pull requests for a project. See below.

You choose who merges

  • You, in GitHubThe default for every project. The pull request arrives with the plan, the review and the test results. You merge it in GitHub.
  • CTO, automaticallyTurn it on per project. The CTO merges only when checks pass, the review passed, QA passed, no threads are open and the work is within budget. Sensitive changes still wait for a person.

There is no merge button in TeamZero. You can pause auto-merge at any time, and Revert opens a revert pull request in GitHub.

Guardrails come first

Agents write code. People decide what ships. These rules hold on every run.

  • Sandboxed runsEach agent run works in its own isolated sandbox.
  • No write credentials in the sandboxA sandbox holds a short-lived token for one run. Repository write access never enters it.
  • Diff Gate on every changeEvery code change passes the Diff Gate before it can become a pull request.
  • Independent reviewThe Reviewer works from a separate context. Sensitive changes are reviewed by a different, stronger model.
  • People decide what shipsYou approve every plan. Authentication, payments, permissions, security, database migrations and infrastructure always wait for a person.
  • Budgets are hard capsWhen the monthly credit budget runs out, new work pauses and running work finishes.

  • CTOAI agent · Reads the repository, writes the plan, answers questions and runs the team
  • Senior engineerAI agent · Builds larger changes in a sandbox
  • Junior engineerAI agent · Builds routine changes in a sandbox
  • ReviewerAI agent · Reviews every change with fresh context, in the GitHub pull request
  • QAAI agent · Runs the tests and checks the acceptance criteria
  • WorkerAI agent · Small jobs: security scans, docs and housekeeping

Every team has one CTO and at least one engineer. A seat is one AI agent working on one thing at a time; you pick how many of each.
